On the 16th of October, 2024, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development organized a sensitization program on child marriage at Koforidua M/A Basic School. The session educated students on the dangers and consequences of child marriage, emphasizing its impact on education, health, and personal development. The program aimed to empower the students with knowledge to resist and report such practices while promoting the importance of education and child rights.
