The Municipal Chief Executive for Tano North, Hon. Ernest Kwarteng; today, 19th of July, 2023, handed over five hundred desks to the Municipal Education service, to enhance effective and quality education as part of the government’s aims.
Upon request from some senior high schools, part of the desks were shared with Serwaa Kesse and Yamfo Vocational Technical, respectively.
The rest are expected to be shared amongst basic schools in need.
The MCE in his submission further stated that “the government has a lot more on the list, so the educational directorate should help in maintaining these desks so that the focus could be switched to other matters of equal importance.”
