PROMOTING CHILD OBEDIENCE IN SCHOOLS: INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH STUDENTS AND TEACHERS AT M/A BASIC SCHOOL- KOFORIDUA AND R/C BASIC SCHOOL AT AFRISIPA ON THE 4TH JUNE, 2024

The Department of Social Welfare and Community Development in the Tano North Municipality recently held an interactive program on the topic of child obedience in two Schools. The session brought together students and teachers from various schools to foster respectful and disciplined behavior among children.
Using flashcards from the child protection toolkits, facilitators engaged participants in thought-provoking discussions and activities. Students and teachers actively participated, sharing ideas and practical examples to promote obedience and mutual respect in the school environment.


The program was a success, as it created a platform for meaningful dialogue and strengthened the bond between students and teachers. The department remains committed to ensuring the holistic development of children in the municipality.
