Education remains the surest path to a brighter future, and our Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Gideon Boako, has once again shown that he means it by supporting 2200+ students.
In a heartwarming gesture, the MP presented fresh Senior High School entrants across the Tano North Constituency with essential school items, including:
- Chop boxes
- Exercise books
- Mathematical sets
- Calculators
For many families, the cost of preparing a child for boarding school can be a heavy burden. This timely support has eased that load and allowed our young ones to start their SHS journey with confidence and dignity.
The occasion was graced by the former Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Hajia Samira Bawumia, whose presence brought great honour to the constituency and underscored the importance of investing in the education of our young people.
Also present were our distinguished queen mothers, Nana Serwaa Nyarko Ampaafo Brakatu of the Duayaw Nkwanta Traditional Council and Nana Darkowaa Ampem Kyerewaa of the Yamfo Traditional Council. Their presence and blessings gave the event special meaning and reminded us all that raising the next generation is a shared responsibility.
Parents, teachers, opinion leaders and other stakeholders have expressed deep appreciation for this kind gesture, describing it as practical, caring and a true reflection of leadership that listens to the needs of the people.
