On Tuesday, 15th September 2026, the Municipal Chief Executive, together with officials from the Education Directorate, Heads of Departments, and staff of the Tano North Municipal Assembly, visited Kotwe for a sod-cutting and commissioning ceremony of a newly constructed Kindergarten (KG) Block.
The new facility forms part of efforts to improve educational infrastructure and provide a conducive teaching and learning environment for children within the community.
The Chief of Kotwe, who witnessed the ceremony alongside other community members and stakeholders, described the occasion as a remarkable milestone for the community and expressed appreciation for the intervention in improving education in the area.
