On Thursday, 18th December, 2025, the Municipal Director of Education for Tano North, together with the Headmaster of Adrobaa R/C Basic School, the Chairman of Adrobaa Circuit Sports, members of the Under-13 National Milo Champions (Adrobaa R/C Basic School) football team, the technical team, and other football fraternity officials, paid a courtesy call on the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), the Presiding Member, and some officers of the Municipal Assembly
The purpose of the visit was to express appreciation to the MCE for the support he extended to the team prior to their departure to Kumasi for the competition, to officially inform him of their victory, and to present the trophies won
In his remarks, the Municipal Director of Education announced that the Under-13 team emerged as National Milo Champions, winning the overall championship trophy as well as the award for Best Goalkeeper of the competition.
The Municipal Chief Executive congratulated the team and all stakeholders for the remarkable achievement, attributing the success to hard work, determination, focus, and good sportsmanship. He further advised the schoolboys to take their academic work seriously alongside sports and encouraged them to remain disciplined and committed to learning.
In support of the team’s achievement, the MCE made a cash donation to the team. The Municipal Director of Education, on behalf of the delegation, expressed sincere gratitude to the MCE for his continuous support and generosity
